About This Place

If you're wandering through the vibrant streets of Rome and craving authentic Italian flavors, look no further than Pane Olio e Arrosticini. Nestled in the heart of the city at Via Tor de' Schiavi, 270, this charming restaurant invites guests to indulge in a culinary experience that pays homage to traditional Abruzzese cuisine. Known for its delightful arrosticini—skewered, grilled lamb that embodies the essence of Tuscany—the restaurant prides itself on delivering flavors that transport you straight to the Italian countryside.

One of the standout features of Pane Olio e Arrosticini is their commitment to sourcing only the finest ingredients. From the juicy, perfectly charred arrosticini to their selection of house-made bruschette and assorted antipasti, diners are treated to generous portions that celebrate the simplicity and richness of Italian fare. Ilaria Bisti captures the essence of this culinary journey perfectly when she remarks, "Sempre buonissimo!"—a testament to the consistent quality and authentic tastes that keep patrons returning.

Complementing the savory dishes is an impressive wine selection that features both Vino Rosso and Vino Bianco. Ranging from the robust Chianti to the crisp Pecorino, these wines enhance the dining experience and pair beautifully with the rich flavors of each dish. A lovely glass of Primitivo, at just €13.00, can elevate a meal, making it an excellent choice for any wine enthusiast.

The ambiance at Pane Olio e Arrosticini is both welcoming and relaxed, with attentive staff who make every guest feel appreciated. Michele Arpaia highlighted the genuine hospitality of the team, stating that they truly cater to your needs, ensuring that dining here feels personalized and special—something that can often be overlooked in more touristy spots.

With praises like those from Valeria Angiuli and Massimiliano Cappelletti, it's clear that Pane Olio e Arrosticini isn’t just a meal; it’s a memorable experience. From the vibrant environment to the mouth-watering selection of dishes like crispy patatine fritte at only €3.00, this hidden gem has carved out a niche for itself amongst Rome’s culinary offerings.

In summary, whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or planning a leisurely meal with friends, Pane Olio e Arrosticini promises a delightful journey into the heart of Italian cuisine. Sempre buonissimo!

Great place to eat some Abruzzesi food. One of the best places to eat in the area. They only need to get their service right, but that is a problem affecting the entire industry. It's hard to find young people that can do that job nowadays. Let you wonder why that is.
